Take five
and lose
control
kick out
the doubt
you've come
this far,
you've found
who you
are. You
vowed to let
it show, to
have Faith
and let go.
And doubt
creeps
in, to make
you second
guess you
life's plan, give
you questions
make you
stress. What
will people
think. Look
and stare,
judge like
they don't
care. But
now you're
just like
them.
Find your feet
gain
control. Kick
out the doubt
this is
what
you're all
about
to be
about. So
just take
five
and think
this through
look in the
mirror,
welcome-
to the
new
you.

Lost
The staring
the
glaring
the things
she's not
quite
sharing. Yet
her eyes
are blaring
the feelings
that she's
bearing. No
matter
what's said
she can't
quit
caring
the desire's
overbearing.
One day
it will
end. The
questions
will stop
like
the expectations
that have
dropped.

She waits
to cross
measures
her loss.
Days are
gone
years have passed
but these
seconds
matter
they could be
her last.
He waits
he watches
silence like death
only the tick
of seconds
fills the room
resounding
pounding
each tick
closer to
doom.
Snapping his
gloves
chemical smell
pollutes the
air; smug
grin cracks
his face
joyfully taking
his place
and he can't
get enough
to destruct
and all he
wants is
seconds.
The gown crinkles
while her frown
wrinkles
her face. Stuck
in this place
the choice
is hers
it's not too
late. To change
her mind
rewind
leave behind
her selfish choice.
Life wins.
Feet on the
floor she runs
to the door
grabs his hand
clutching
her stomach
full of life
she
takes her
second
chance.

Blue and Red
She sees her
life
through green
sponge covered
eyes
held up
to wipe
away
black filthy
lies.
Alone
at night she
lays and
cries,
bound by
these chains
her freedom
dies while she
holds up her
green
sponge
covered eyes
held up
to wipe
away
black filthy
lies.
Childhood stolen;
precious moments
become her
demise. Fast
forward - life
takes her
by surprise
as she puts
on her
green
sponge
covered eyes
held up
to wipe
away
black filthy
lies.
Forward she
moves and
harder she tries
to brighter
days
and bluer
skies. She
continues to rise
as she puts
on her
green sponge
eyes
held up
to wipe
away
black filthy
lies.
